Shooting when zooming
Just started playing this game. I'm quite enjoying it. I have an issue with the sniper rifle. I can zoom-in, but I can't actually shoot when zoomed. If I zoom out, I can shoot fine. Any suggestions? I should qualify this post by saying I'm not a frequent gamer, so if it's a noob issue, apologies.

if you zoom in, then when you are on your target press "e", then there is more zoom. give it i try, i really dont know why you cant shoot while zoom in, maybe a problem with the mouse what doesnt recognise both mouse buttons at the same time pressed? mouse drivers installed?

I've tried pressing "e" for the extra zoom. What you say about the two buttins being pressed at the same time might be right. I would hope that the system recognises it though, and that the drivers are installed, given I'm playing it on a laptop (absolutely NO issues whatsoever). I might try and remap/reconfigure the controls, see if that works.

whatever the default button for the 1st zoom-in view is, i'd change it to the "Z" button as your Zooming-in button.

Think you might be right there. Seems the laptop couldn't handle both mouse buttons depressed at the same time...I've given them some prozac, so hopefully that'll sort them out.

Seriously though, I have changed the default button for zooming, and it's working great. And I think using Z makes a LOT of sense!

that's because I strictly save the Right-mouse button for using melee attacks whenever possible

You might want to consider using your Xbox 360 controller with this game on the PC. Unfortunately, that's how it was intended to play and works pretty well including all the commands and the menu system. I tried both keyboard/mouse and an Xbox controller, and the keyboard and mouse was pretty much unplayable since I would have to remap most of my keys since I'm left handed and ran into too many problem, including problems with the menu system, which you will probably find works so much better (again, as intended) with an Xbox 360 controller.
