Still unplayable with AMD graphics cards?

First, there were many problems with this game on AMD graphics cards. Are those problems fixed, or do they still exist?

I had problems with hd7850, but since the latest update, it's hugely improved for me. Setting not saving and things like that, but other than that it is more than playable.

Plays fine with an AMD card! HD 6950 1 GB, no problems!

Just played it again with a HD 7950 with no issues.

Finished several months ago & may revisit .. smooth play with a 6970 - just use the recent drivers for your GPU

oh please tel me where I can find that driver update, I been wanting to play this game since the first day I bought it on release date. For me all I can do is get pass the intro video then it lags to less then 1 fram rate

i am running the game on hd6950 1gb on 1920x1200 (2560x1440 wont run even on low textures) with out problems man
/try to drop resolution and textures and other stuff on low, as game will not run otherwise if you are on older ati.
if still not run, google for rage config settings and create yourself rageConfig.cfg file inside your rage/base directory which i would recommend anyway to fix fov and other stuff in game and improve gameplay. good luck

I have a 6870 and it's unplayable. Maybe when you're noob 40 fps in a shooter are okay. Guess then you should go for it.

I invested ~2 hours of tweaking, reading articles, etc. into this game and it wasn't playable with my card.

I have a AMD HD6800 and I can't play higher than 15fps and constant fps drops.
It's a shame I like this game alot would be better if they ever fixed it properly reminds me of how quake 4 plays.

@WhatsONTV, 15fps on 6800 series in your case remainds me people who run this game on much older cards than yours with much higher frame rate. good card does not mean it will run if there is something wrong with your system.

I have an AMD 6790 and always update my card with the newest drivers, its still unplayable to this day. As soon as the intro video is done the game just freezes up and looks like its less then 1 frame rate. Its not my card cause I can play Battlefield 3, Far Cry 3 with no problems at all.
