Runtime error?

So, i went to save in wellspring, and i was kicked from the game with a "Runtime error", while saying something about the game requesting something odd, my PC not wanting to risk it, so it closed the game.

What is this about, and how do i prevent it from happening again?

I kept getting a runtime error too... It tells me is a Visual C++ 2010 runtime error. I have reinstalled windows 8; have every year of vcredist from 2005 -2013 installed both x86 and x64. But still RAGE.exe will not work. 64bit mode at least doesnt give me a exe runtime error it just never loads/opens.

My PC isnt lacking really either : Is it OS?
