Unsure how to switch vehicle weapons.

Hi, I've bought the mini gun and guided missiles for my buggy and it has the guided missiles set to use and I can use them okay but I can't use the mini-gun so I tried to find a way to switch to the mini-gun but I haven't managed to do that either, So can someone explain how I do it please.

I'm using keyboard and mouse, just in case that matters.

I use the mouse wheel to swap weapons, but you probably can use something else and hot key it if you want.

The Buggy only uses one weapon at a time. To change the weapon, go to the garage and click on Tune. The Caprino uses 2 weapons at the same time (use mouse wheel to switch) and the Monarch 3 weapons (use mouse wheel to switch).

I don't know when I use the mini gun the rockets shoot too! And sometimes when I had rockets they didn't shoot at all.I'm going to try that mouse wheel technique now.I don't remember what car it was the caprino or monarch.The buggy can mount rockets on it?

The mouse wheel is for your weapons in first person, In the car it does not work.

Just to clarify something. (This is the latest topic about the subject so... necroing a bit)

To change your selected weapon on the Caprino and Monarch, you scroll the mouse wheel.

You can't change the weapons of your vehicles :
- If you're using the Buggy. This one can only have 1 weapon at the time and you select it in the Tuning option of the garage.
- Only when you're in the open and have ammos for at least 2 weapons. Races limits you to specific weapons AND has a longer cooldown (which explain why the guns doesn't shoot as fast).

The Caprino comes with both the machine guns and rocket launcher when you win it. No need to buy neither. You do need to buy rockets/machine gun bullets though.

I think I'm going to give this another playthrough soon and try to increase my achievements score. When I finally got around to doing a proper playthrough I'd owned the game for a very long time and it had had all it's bug fixing done making it into what I thought was a great game.
I't be nice to see a Rage 2 one day.

You can use the letter t to switch weapons.

If playing with a controller and you have the Caprino (or above?) the switch button is on the D Pad. It doesn't show up as the minigun. Switch to a blank space on the D Pad, then use the Left Bumper (top left button) to switch. I just now tested it and it didn't seem to work until I ran out of one kind of ammo.
