Why is the game allowing me to buy rockets,ammo,etc. . .but not letting the rockets get assigned to the cars? And what happened to the car inventory?I raced to get upgrades I've been buying them and they ain't in the inventory to assign them to any of the slots. There's no way I can travel outside of the settlements and have a decent defense for completing missions with nothing but bullets.

The buggy can only carry one weapon at a time. You can assign the new equipment at the garage, but all new stuff should be automatically equipped anyway. Bit of advice, don't waste racing slips on the lesser wheels, just buy the best (performance spiked) and ignore the rest.

That's right. With the Caprino (2 weapons) and Monarch (3 weapons) you use the mouse wheel to change between weapons, but with the Buggy you can only use 1 weapon at a time. At the garage: click on "Tune" to change weapons for the Buggy. And yes, new vehicle parts are equipped automatically as DogMeat says, they therefore don't show up in your inventory.

When driving your vehicle press F1, F2, F3 and F4 to choose the assigned stuff like shields, mines, armour restore, etc. Click the right mouse button to actually use it (maybe Q works too?)

Oh man I'm not making enough money and still only have a Caprino and I'm getting close to the end but I'm so frikken broke. These races are beginning to suck for me,they're getting to hard.I thought the vehicle weapons were equipped automatically but I tested the guns on the dirt road and no rockets got fired. I ran out of them the last mission when I needed to get those things in the meteorite shower. And I thought I had tons of them. I gotta make some serious cash some how. I tried the stupid mail delivery job and thought for sure I delivered and beat the timer but it said "NO" and I thought that perhaps that's the way the story plot goes?

I have attached an extract from my game review which is on my profile, this will help you accumulate funds quickly.

Hints: You may or may not know that once you have obtained your 'Defib' upgrade you can re-enter the 'Lost City' as many times as you like and pick up items, (Even before you return to the doctor). The place will be active with 'Small Mutants' that are easily despatched and you will find numerous bone heaps that can be pilfered, (15 - 20 each time). They will provide Money, Ammo and Saleable items to boost your inventory and wealth. (Particularly handy on the hardest level). Once you have returned under instructions from 'Captain Marshal' later on in the game, access will be denied......So get in early or every time you pass by as I do. Make sure you take an 'RC Bomb Car' with you to obtain one of the small boxes you need to collect.

'Blue Line Station' can also be returned to regularly to get cash out of all the vending machines and ATM's once your two designated missions are completed as well.

'Bash TV offers bonuses as well once you have complete the last section (5) and killed the 'Big Boss'. Before leaving the area to go back to 'JK Styles' find the wall with an octopus that has 3 legs only. Load up you shotgun and shoot the lights on the end of the tentacles from 'Right to Left' (only). When you do a large green fish will appear amongst the waves on your left which you should shoot immediately, then move to the right and 2 more will do the same in succession. Shooting them will give an extra $200 per fish to add to you winnings. You can continue to do this every time you re-enter 'Bash TV'.

I'm sorry I get so wicked lost in this game,because it was released years ago and I didn't see it until 2015.

Still as good as anything released lately, if not better. I keep going back for more.

I bought the original on disc in 2011 and later added it to Steam so the hours I have up are Steam only, there were many more before.

I have always found it useful to play "Tombstones" located outside of "Outfitters". You bet the maximum of $25 and you can make thousands of dollars with patience. Start by saving your game. Then play the game, but if it's obvious you will not win the round then load your game again. When you win, save your game and then continue playing. After purchasing a suit I play until I earn between $1500-2000.

Also, try not blow up your enemies (expect for muties). This way you can loot their bodies. Finally, sell all of the ammunition you have collected that you do not use.
