Went to youtube and looked at a lot of dead city videos. Not one of them shown how to get the goodies under the steel grate seen looking down after climbing the stairs just after they're throwing flame bombs down on you.

you have to go back outside where you came from and find a small sewer opening. Throw a RC car bomb in there and guide it to the door that needs blown up.
