RAGE
Trying to use 4K resolution makes the window not fit on screen, even though I have fullscreen selected
What the title says. I make sure that fullscreen is enabled, but when I try playing at 2160p, the image 'bleeds over' onto my second monitor, and I only get a fracting of the image on my 4K screen.

Anyone know a fix for this?

Have you tried to play it without your second monitor plugged-in?

Yep, just tried. Completely unplugged my one monitor. It's like, even though I set it to 4K, it's only showing 1/4th of the image (the upper left hand corner).

Try running it in 32bit mode instead.

I think I am. When prompted at startup if I want to play regular Rage or Rage 64-bit with mods, I just chose the regular version.

Edit: Just tried 64 bit, same issue. In this pic I took, you can see that the left screen is the 4K screen and the lower right screen is my 1080p monitor. Even when I unplug my 1080p monitor, the 4K part of the image looks exactly the same (as in this pic).

Maybe try installing id5 tweaker?

Assuming you're on Nvidia, open up the Nvidia Control Panel, go to [Adjust desktop size and position] and change the [Perform scaling on] dropdown to "GPU" -> Apply. The [Override scaling mode set by games] checkbox is also worth trying if that doesn't help.

Also, if you're on Win10, go into the Compatibility tab for the Rage executable and tick [Disable full screen optimizations]. There are also some settings in the [Change high DPI settings] worth playing with, mine is set to Override+Application in there.

I had the same issue today, thank you for the post, Google led me here, the game is now working a treat at 4k, using the 64bit version, the game still looks pretty good, especially at 4k, very playable too.
