Scorcher Threat control room dials

I am in the control room looking out at Sara. I am unable to access the left dial of either set. I can select E and move the right dial on each side to put the needle in the center of the dial and the light turns green. Right now the right dial on both the left and right side of console are in the green zone and those two dials have a green light. However, I can not select the left dial. When the "E" pops up to activate it always activates the right dials.
Is there something I am missing or failing to do right?

I figured it out myself. On the PC after you select E and line up one dial, you must use the A and D keys to switch between the dials.
