32bit vs 64bit
I know the 64bit version isnt compatible with achievements and the like but is there any reason to play the 32bit version?

only reason to play 64bit version is if you use mods.

only good mod for this game afaik:

https://www.moddb.com/mods/rebalance-mod-ultimate

that said, 64bit runs worse on my rig, 32bit version seems more optimized.

That is very strange that the 64bit version would run worse. I dont really want to restart on 32bit because Im already 3 hours in. I guess ill try the 32bit version.

I know this is a kind of necro, but since people looking for 64vs32bit are still going to be linked here, I think it's important to address the fact that you don't have to restart the whole game when switching versions.

Your Autosave is compatible between the two, so if you copy "GAMES-AUTOSAVE" from the save folder of the version you were playing, to the save folder of the version you want to switch to, you can then run the game and load your latest autosave. It's best to do this manually through the load game option rather than clicking 'continue campaign'. Non-autosaves are not compatible.
