The infamous LSSAH. Truly they were battle hardened, but committed many atrocities, especially in Normandy. A welcomed division for steel division 2, but not one I will play with high regards to. Surely not all of them in this division were fanatical tyrants, I believe I am right when I say Tiger 1 and 2 ace Kurt Knispel was a part of them? and reading some books on him, genuinely seemed like a guy who disliked the SS, solely doing what he had to do for the thrill of tank combat.

Thanks Eugen, many will like this, hopefully not for the wrong reasons.

Speaking of Kurt, will he make a debute as an ace for the game like Wittman has? He was active in 1944 so it would be only fair, considering he was a "good" guy (good in the sense that disdained the SS's brutality).

Allied units closer than 300 m to LSSAH soldiers should get temporary disheartened trait.

I am surprised the Leibstandarte is getting added. Madmat has defended Eugen for not including in for what now? 3 years? I mean there are many questionable Divisions but I doubt I will play this one no matter how meta it will be. Just because of what this one stands for.

Their combat suits were not black. The standard uniform was Feldgrau like Wehrmacht. Unlike Wehrmacht Waffen-SS got their own camoflage patterns worn as shirt, trouser, helmet cover or jacket.
Their was Eichenlaubtarn (version A and B existed):

Leibertarn in 1945:

There was a summer and autumn version for most patterns.

Special was Telo Mimetico. That was captured in Italy after the betray and used by SS units in Italy and France.:

But the general representation of German uniforms in this game is very poorly.

No, I always denied having Das Reich, Totenkopf or Dirlewanger, the cream of the trash.
Besides, we already had 1.SS featured in SD1.

Or the opposite: knowing SS réputation toward prisoners, they should get Fanatical themselves!

Besides, in Normandy, LSSAH’ Volksdeutschen took every opportunity to surrender in droves when they could. It wasn’t the LSSAH at its prime like before Kursk.

No KingTiger in LSSAH even 1 card?
Add 1 card KingTiger plz Eugen.
For god sake, for fun, for buy, please add one card.
No matter if it's KingTiger (P) or KingTiger (H).

Oh boy, it is time for the checklist!

- Caesar's Legion pfp

- American larping as a country he has never seen

- Instantly offended when someone has mild reservations about playing an SS division

- ''What about muh Western Allies and their war crimes?????''

- Always singles out the USSR as the big bad

- Tells someone to read (doesn't actually read, makes up History Channel level history in his head)

Congratulations! You are diagnosed with being a troglodyte.
