Another pass on my part. I have enough DLC with units and at a certain point, you've reached a point of diminishing returns. That point was reached two packs ago.
No move to 45, no prototypes, just...more infantry with air support. Like 6 other divisions on both sides already have.
No map editor.
No new modes.
Not even a conversion of some more maps to Destruction mode.
Nope.
80% of the time, this game is running in the background, on the division editor, while I watch movies anyway.
Actually, the one choice eliminated by vote with the more new units/models, Task Force 45, we've salvaged by our own decision to deliver in Tribute to Italy.
I voted for raid on Dvar so I'm not going to complain :)
The comment the entire Steel Division 2 community expected from our dear friend Peri :)
Even if no armor, would be fun for scenario play.
Also the part about Draza Mihailovic being an "Anti-Semite" and a "Facist" is completely disingenuous, if youre going to write a piece about Yugoslavia in WW2 atleast try to portay both sides in an accurate light instead of holding one on a pedastal and demonising the other for being abandoned by its allies and forced to collaborate to maintain the monarchist status quo, i mean for crying out loud the country collapsed because Regent Paul tried to ally with the Axis and was overthrown in a Coup which is the whole reason the Axis invaded Yugoslavia in the first place.
It's hypocritical to tell a customer that fascination with military units shouldn't play a role, while gushing in a huge article about Tito's Partisans and smearing another faction.
Just be honest about what you like and what you include.
Which is more than most piece about Yugoslav resistance do ...
Now, very factually:
* didn't the Chetniks actually sided with the Germans occasionally (and increasingly as the war went on) against Tito's partisans? Such as at Drvar with the Dinara Division[en.wikipedia.org] as a matter of fact ...
* didn't the Chetniks rounded up and handed Jews to the Germans (when not worst) in their sectors?
No need to start a full debate, just answer yes or no ...
As reminded above, I did mention the royalist resistance.
As for why not making them playable: because the Chetnik movement would be restricted to a few infantry, MGs & light mortars. Even Tito's partisans looked like a heavy division in terms of equipment compared to them.
Seriously though this sounds like a fun devision to play on the right map.
