This is fantastic. It would be the first RTS depicting the neglected, but important front in ex-Yugoslavia, where more than several armies engaged in a brutal conflict - which was at times a free-for-all.

As I hail from these parts, I would add some information:

1) the Partisans actually had 2 armored brigades* by 1944, as well as several wings of donated Western aircraft. While not present near Drvar, we could stretch history just a little bit and include some of those vehicles to make the battlegroup more interesting.

One brigade was equipped with Western vehicles, mainly Stuart tanks, on which the Partisans mounted 75mm PaK 40's and automatic FlaK cannons; the other was equipped with Soviet T34's. I saw photos of this in a military history magazine.

Furthermore, by that time, Partisans also begun conscripting men, sometimes by force, so various levels of combat effectivenness were present. The most elite troops were concentrated in the 'Proletarian' brigades.

* according to post-war (communist) sources, the NOV had 800 000 men by 1945, so the existence of 2 armored brigades is not so strange. It's actually not post-war propaganda.

2) the Croatian regular army, the Home Guard*, did use Italian weapons, but not 'mainly'. An eclectic mix of German, Italian, Czech, ex-Yugoslav and other weapons was present.

As to their armor, apart from French R35's, H39's, S35's; L3's and other Italian tanks, small numbers of Panzer III's and IV's were used.

The Croatian Airforce also operated Me 109's, both on the Eastern Front from 1941, and on the homefront later.

Lastly, about the Ustasha. The Ustasha political movement and their armed wing was akin to the Nazi Party and their SS - however, combat troops of the Ustasha were not mere auxiliaries, but decently equipped volunteers comparable to the Waffen SS. They were considered better quality troops than the Home Guard.

Later in 1944, the Home Guard, the Gendarmerie and the combat Ustasha troops were combined into 18 joint divisions, and so they were unified into the Croatian Armed Forces - which numbered about 200 000 men.

(* Which was named so due to traditions stemming from the Austro-Hungarian Empire. They were the regular, state army of the NDH, not a reserve force).
Kudos for effort taken to provide mil. hist. fluff, you've spared me a lot of time.

Svaka čast!
Any chance of Chetnik units being included in future DLC too?

If the future DLC is this one, sure. Otherwise, they wouldn't make much sense outside of a Yugoslavian setting.
sounds definetly interesting.

Will any maps be added with these DLCs? It's very nice to get new units and nations, but we need new maps to really immerse ourselves. Using New Zealanders in the middle of Belarus is very non-immersive, which sucks, as this game is super easy to get absorbed into.

As stated in the Nemesis Announcement blog, no new maps will be made for these divisions.

As stated in an earlier devblog, new urban maps, and a map-editor, are being worked on. ;)
