M26 Pershing - will we see it
Was reading about a heavy tank the Americans developed and it saw action (yes limited) in WW2.

https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/M26_Pershing

So my question to the devs, is the division that had this on your radar and is it possible for this to end up in the game?

I want KT players to ♥♥♥♥ their pants

No.

The game is set in the Summer 44.
Pershing started appearing on the European ETO in the last weeks, maybe month, of the war.

It stood below the KT on a second read. But between a Panther and Tiger. Which is not bad
If we are lucky perhaps we will see it in the Dunkirk pack?

Not historically accurate. It appeared at the end of the war (1944) not 1940

Yeah it is well out of period and kinda rubbish, comets on the other hand would be an excellent addition (but still out of period).
True. The Pershing was a little later very near the end of the war iirc. There was a Super Pershing as well.

Basically a tiger level armour and approximately 17 pdr penetration. Would have been a great tank in 1943 but by war's end it was really just a test bed for future designs.

Better than a Panther and a Tiger, not even close to a king tiger, not considering maneuverability

It only has 4 inch front and the 90 was an indifferent AT gun. The super pershing was better but it was an overloaded chassis and there were only 5 made.

Front armor was about as thick and wasn't flat like the Tiger, Pershing's armor was thicker than the Panther and steeper. Sides don't really matter between the three. Pretty sure the 90mm was at least as good as any of the three and most likely better if using solid shot rounds, and that's without it's HVAP rounds

Actually, the Pershing served pretty extensively in the Korean War. ;)
A developer of this app has indicated that this post answers the original topic.
