Its handy to have some mobile heavy hitter in your initial rush, but dont necessarilly spread them out all over the map. Decide where you want to make a solid push, and put decent units into it. In other areas, screen as far forward as you can without getting ambushed yourself. You need to keep recon units up front with your groups, and leaders. Initial rush infantry are best in armed transports.
Its a balancing act between having enough troops in each area, with support like leaders and artillery, and being able to reinforce where needed. Best advice is to watch a few recent replays.
Don't be disheartend by it.
1: the C button is your friend. With it you can see what a unit in the position you are pointing at can see or rather shoot at.
2: understand what your individual units are good at.
this will take time but understanding their pros and cons will decide the outcome of most of your actions.
3: cheap is good. the usual instinct of a player is to bring good and thus expensive units.
infact though the cheapest unit that gets the job done is the best.
this is simply a matter of economy a King Tiger holding of a few infantery squads is infact a win for the infantery because that KT is tied down and worth way more.
4: light mgs, as this caused a lot of confusion for me, for balancing issues they don't fire under 100 m.
5: like chess: try to think ahead and have you different actions feed into one another.
for example you want to cross a bridge? don't just rush across it, check who and from where the enemy is shooting at it. then think about how you can shut those attacks down before you launch that assault.
( deploying smoke is for example a good option)
"Draw"
"Draw"
I'm tired of destroying more of the enemy then they do me and just because I lost maybe 2 Flag Points for 30sec and it's always ends in the "Draw". The units stats always are changing( give me back my MOTO. Raz with SVT) and for the first time I noticed the enemy doesn't appear when firing (light vehicle out of range of recon) so basically the now all units have that hidden AT bonus it would seem. I was taken aback when I noticed that weird SPW had fired on my infantry and the unit marker didn't appear on the map. Lol Did I mention I'm playing on easy?
