Loading skirmish games removes HUD

Hey, whenever I load a solo-skirmish-game, the HUD is gone. I can click units and give them orders, but deployment menu is gone, smart orders not there, no map. Tried to save and load several new skirmish games, but it never works.
Loading historical and army general save games works for me.

Searching via google only shows posts where ppl ask for removing the HUD for making screenshots, I would like to request the opposite....give me my HUD back, please.

Any help appreciated.

Did you save this game before finishing deployment? And did you turn on "display auto deployment panel" in the game options and then choose "manual deployment" at the beginning of the game? If so, then I also replicated this bug and I have already reported it to Eugen in early March.

I really hope that Eugen could be more responsive in fixing these non-game-breaking bugs.

Yes, you are right, it only happens during deployment and my settings are as you describe.

I have the same issue, now I found out, that when you go to the options --> interface and set the "Display auto deploy panel" to No, the HUD comes back (and it will remain there after you turn it back to Yes). Hope that helps.

Thank you for your solution and it does work.
However, I think this is still a bug that needs to be fixed. A player who prefers displaying auto deploy panel will have to change this setting every time he starts a new game.
