I'm hoping that there can be a campaign of the earlier Eastern Front at some point. I know the focus is on less-trodden paths but with the Army General feature, it would be really great to have a hands on experience with something like Kursk or the approach to and retreat from Moscow.
Eugen continues to turning my dreams into reality. First - Bagration and liberation of Poland, rare sight in WWII games, especially strategy ones(seeing just endless Kursk/Stalingrad/Berlin holy trinity is very tiresome sometimes). Now Karelia, practically untouched, yet extremely important part of the battle for Leningrad. All of divisions and AG campaign look really interesting, and I can't wait to play the new DLC.
Only one thing bother me, through - 126-y L. Gornostrelkovy Korpus was sent to 14-ya army fighting Germans in Arctic, not Finns, and participated at Petsamo–Kirkenes Offensive.
Someone might have mix it with 127-y Korpus, which did fought against Finns during Svir–Petrozavodsk offensive in July 1944 as part of 7-ya army, before moving to Arctic too and joining 126-y Korpus at Petsamo–Kirkenes.
Same as SD2 at release featured multiplayer divisions which weren't part of the AG campaigns (Bezuglogo, 44GRD, ...).
Indeed, ski troops + naval infantry --> just ski troops. And USSR air force was more diverse in the Arctic too. I was just suprised that while new Axis multiplayer divisions are concentrated around Karelia, one of the Allied ones operated far to the north and not even against Finland. But even better now that Arctic will be represented too, even through units - very interesting battle, and almost never seen(land one, at least), just as Karelia.
