I usually just right-click the current position of a unit to clear all orders.

press 'e' by default that stops the unit from everything, shooting and moving

maybe reading is not your thing? I allready said halt order does not work, when youre setting up the units in plan phase :) try going the extra mile and read other posts before actually going to the step and post something you think is relevant ;)

Frankly, this is probably a simple translation issue, as the in-game terms don't use the word "plan phase" or "placement", so there may be some confusion there.

Nah I dont think there is a problem understanding that I want to delete orders. and the fact that noone has actually provided me with a solution yet, I assume that there is no way to delete orders, once you set them. and yes I know you can set new orders, thats still not the same...

Not to sound rude here but what's the point of removing orders when you are in the placement stage? Why not just give the units a new order?

Assuming there is a button that deletes orders, you are saying you would rather give an order, then realize it's the wrong order, then delete the order, then you give a different order.

Why not just give the order, realize it's the wrong order, then you just give it a different order. Please clarify why you would want a delete order in the placement stage because I am very confused.

I can clarify, ok I had set my infantry a move order and my antitank another move order and then my tanks another move order, each had a unload at destination orders, and THEN I made a mistake and had my tanks selected, when i thought I had my AT gun selected and wanted to change its order slightly, and then it added another waypoint for the tanks. so then I thought I could simply delete the orders for the tanks, but no I cant , thats why i ask this in the forum... you got it now? I thought that the delete key or the E key would delete the orders but no it doesent... you think its clearer now?
