"#mod-discussions Guys, if you want your communities to be able to play with your mods on non-Steam versions (GoG and Wargaming), you need to follow these steps :
1) After the upload of the Steam version, the mod creator needs to go to Users/Saved Games/EugenSystem/SteelDivision2/mod and find his compiled mod folder (for instance Red Storm for me).
2) The mod creator needs to create an archive of its compiled mod folder and upload it on an upload platform (Dropbox for example).
3) The mod creator needs to create a share link from his uploaded compiled mod archive and share it with his community.
4) Players of the mod using non-Steam version need to go to Users/Saved Games/EugenSystem/SteelDivision2 and create a folder named 'mod' if it's not already there.
5) Then, they need to download the compiled mod archive from the link shared by the mod's creator and put the content of the archive in Users/SavedGames/EugenSystem/SteelDivision2/mod"

This really should have be announced officially on steam and sticky by some1 official
- some1 has to has to have this job and do it on Steam as the mod notes specify steam alone and are very specific

Maybe I am just too stupid but where can I find the Red Storm mod outside the Steam workshop? I am thinking about buying the whole game on GOG but only if the Red Storm mod and/or the Music and Sound mod are available somewhere else.

SD2 discord you should get an answer and Red Storm has its own discord. Im almost sure it is, as the author was the one who originally posted how to to the GOG stuff.
