Yes, its fun.
Stop being bad lmao. What is it with zoomers and hating any kind of challenge?
Chill, just join the sd2 bootcamp discord and you will have more fun, as in any game as you know
more about what you are doing you can have more fun with it, you are probably confused with the mechanics so it looks convoluted but its actually pretty simple once you realize what is important.
I wouldnt play team games if you are a new player as you will get team stacked to death and outspammed in deck and income probably, play with a friend or ask for a game in the discord and you will be fine
No, its not.
Learn how to recon with all your units.

Very hard to say without looking at an actual game as it depends on the overall terrain, tanks and enemy division, your best bet as i said is to join the discord and look for games there and see some videos with gameplay so you get new ideas to apply in the game
Yeah I see thats important but its pretty ridiculous that a light tank with a 45mm gun can take out several heavier vehicles that were firing on it. Maybe that was just bad luck but still kind of dumb. Also I see recon is more important then I thought which is also kind of sucks because infantry should be able to see just as well as the recon but I get it gives recon units a purpose.
Also get in the habit of using cannon fodder infantry units like ersatzgruppen for the sole purpose of advancing to make the enemy positions fire and reveal themselves first before advancing. They also do a good job of taking out unprotected AT guns for little cost if you can get them close enough. Also use artillery smoke, most people completely overlook it.
Hey man thanks for the tips I've been getting better about using recon but I never thought to use ♥♥♥♥♥♥ infantry or arty smoke like that. I agree the penetrations seems wonky but it usually works ok. I'm stuck on the last hope mission I've been able to beat the other ones but that one is a ♥♥♥♥♥ and a half and it doesn't even seem fair I'll pound their ass with 4 hummels and take the high ground before the objective but they have like unlimited ♥♥♥♥ it feels cheap IMO do you have any tips for that one? Also it feels like the Sovs get more stuff and its cheaper is that actually the case or am I just biased because I'm an axis player.
The biggest thing was was to keep the infantry out of line of sight when moving from hill to hill, using pioneers to flank the MG emplacements, and using hummels for targeting any field guns or infantry groups that are holding you up when moving across the open. Also once right at the objective, he'll group up right on the spot or the two treelines beyond it, so hitting the road and those trees will let you advance. Keep command infantry with your groups to smoke when they come under fire.
Moving as fast as possible while keeping out of his MG's sights was the biggest goal, as the three minutes into phase B were the hardest since he began to bring out much more stuff, although since they grouped up tightly they were easy targets for the hummels. Always take your fights from green cover, and don't fight against enemy infantry in green cover until you break them up with the hummels first. Don't let your infantry fight from the open if it all possible, and also don't get your infantry hung up shooting at emplacements. Get them pinned down, then move in to capture them instead of wasting time fully destroying them.
