Is this game worth it to buy?

I bough steel division 44 and it wasn't really worth it. Nobody plays it anymore, there's no support. And the price was high. SD2 is not cheap too. There's so many dlc's and their costs is bigger than the main game lol. I've seen that playerbase is around 400 players a day.

2nd

SDII has a different approach - open range maps and generally more units on the field compared to SDN44. Some say its more spammy and less tactical than N44 ... cant prove them wrong - ther are more tropps but you will fail when you use them in the wrong way.


if you were disappointed with SDN44 you better wont buy SDII - is the same game with a different flavor of war xD

I like the game and i owned players in forrests and cities with my paratroopers. But i was only disappointed with devs support for the game. Lack of it.

The only problem with these games is that they are so frenetic there is no time to do anything or look at the units or close up at the battlefield etc. So all the ground level visuals are a waste of time because you never see the game from that point. I felt these are all fairly disappointing games from that point of view. The might have been better turn based.

There is a replay function and the game's visual can be enjoyed there. Some of my best time playing SD2 are watching the beautiful battles with HUD turned off in replay.

yes, i was on the fence a few months ago, i bought the base game when smart orders arrived, so i could control lots of armies and watch them fight, but saw the support, so many features added(My favorite is smart orders), and the roadmap, these guys are very good and deserve all the support. Yesterday i had only the basegame, today i bought the franchise pack lol. i play only for sp, maybe some mp co-op vs ai

I am surprised because I got Wargame and wasnt that impressed with the single player, but if it has improved I might have to give one of these another go sometime. I did play a little bit online but it was so frenetic it really want much fun for me.

Edit: Oh, just read a review that says the AI cheats still lol. Still looks like its a frenetic arcade game, shame. Back off my list it comes!

i dont recommend getting the game and first thing you do is doing the hardest thing , and in online match. which is a 10v10 match.

Hardest thing? xD What? Well maybe it is hard for you. I played all sort of strategic games since i was kid. 10vs10 is why i consider buying this game lel. But those dlc's prices are too high.
