Tiger 2 variants

I noticed that only Porsche variant is in the game,can we expect the Henschel version in the future?Thx

Porsche never made any Tiger 2 that went to the front. They only made prototype. All Tiger 2s that participated in the war are made by Henschel and so this is what you see in-game.

look the name of the tank (P) means porsche, and there were made some with Porsche turret, before Henschel, the tank in the game is clearly a Porsche tank, the turret is very different.

The reason it's called the Tiger 2 (P) is because people falsely think it's made by Porsche, but in actuality, both turrets were designed by Krupp and Henschel won the rights to design all Tiger 2s. All Tiger 2 that participated in the war were made by Henschel. What you see in game is a Henschel tank that uses the Krupp turret design (called "P").

I have those books (all from T.J. Jentz), and many others, the turret in the game is not the Henschel turret.
If you have SD Normandy 44 you can see both Tiger 2 Versions there. Porsche (P) and Henschel (H) versions.
Krupp made the gun not the turret, too bad I can´t show you pictures of the two turrets, you will see how different they are, and I repeat the one in the game was made by Porsche.
Advise you to search in the internet, many pictures available.

well, yes Porsche and Krupp worked together in the turret. but in the end they choosed the other model known as Henschel.
And that version is not in this game, thats why I have asked if we will see it in the future.

yes i think the turret that is called the porsche turret is the one in this game
the one that is known as Henschel is very different.
SD normandy 44 have both versions, you can check they are very different from each other

yes Krupp made the turret for Porsche, but this is not the point here
the point is that the version of the tiger 2 in the game is the version with specifications asked by Porsche and not the final version (Henschel version)

Krupp made all turrets. It doesn't matter if its P or H, Henschel and Porsche had nothing to do with the turret design.

The actual real designation for the two turrets is "Krupp VK45.02 (P2) Turm" and "Krupp VK45.03 Serien Turm". Wjat we call today as Porsche turret and Henschel Turret is wrong.

what a big confusion ....VK 45.02 and VK 45.03 were prototypes of tanks not turrets.

Yes, the VK 45.02 and VK45.03 were tank prototype. And the "Krupp VK45.02 (P2) Turm" and "Krupp VK45.03 Serien Turm" were the turret prototype that made it into the real tank.

"Turm" being short for "Versuchsturm" meaning in English : Turret.

But at least you can agree that the turret in this game is not the prodution variant called commonly as"Henschel" ?
if you can´t see that then it is useless to continue.
