HG pioneer (MP44) price vs begleit pioneer

So I was doing some side by side analysis to see what made the two afformentioned units different when I noticed that the begleit pioneer was both better armed and way cheaper. For reference the HG pioneer is a 10 man squad with 7 assault rifle, 2 mp-40, and an MG and grenade, it also costs 40 points. The begleit pioneer is 13 man with 8 assault rifle 3 G43, MG and grenade, yet it costs 30 points.
The begleit pioneer is both larger, cheaper, and has more firepower. The only thing the HG pioneer has over it is availability, which is max 4 vs max 3 for the begleit. I do not think that a difference of one unit is enough to justify a 10 point difference, unless the HG pioneer is priced for internal balance within its division.

Some German infantry units are slightly overcost.

For example, Strelki (DP) cost 25 vs Pz.Grenadier (2 * mg42) cost 30: in range 300 meter or shorter, Strelki (DP) has more average physical damage than Pz.Grenadier; the difference is about 2 SVT. If you want to do the calculation, read my previous post about accuracy mechanism.

Yea, prices for some units are still off somewhat as far as what I'd consider ideal from a balance standpoint. Take for example erzats vs the newer dishartened soviet infantry. Both units cost the same but one has an MG while the other doesn't. Also the AT infantry 2 man AT rocket squads cost 25 points while some other infantry squads that are 4 man and also have an AT rocket costs the same. I would also argue HMG squads are in a similar boat considering they cost as much or almost as much as an IG and yet are vastly weaker unit compared to an IG. The Stukas are all a bit overpriced as well compared to what similar allied aircraft are capable of. There are a few other examples but those are the big ones.

So I looked at the game recently and I have to make a correction, begleit pioneers are actually 40 points; however, my point still stands that the HG pioneer (mp44) should not be 40 points, maybe 35 points is better.

I dunno StG infantry with engineer grenades are as good as it gets. They can crunch a ROKS squad in the forest and dominate at mid ranges, AND remain competent at long range. I think they deserve the max price for infantry. Just balance them with availability if necessary.
