I wouldn't say it has left a lasting mark on me, but there are some nice moments.
And they use actual T-34 & KV-1, which is always nice to see.
The Unknown Soldier is one of the best known Finnish books and it's been made to a movie thrice now (in 1955, 1985 and the latest one in 2017). All of these movies are much more enjoyable than Tali-Ihantala movie in my opinion.
"The Unknown Soldier" depicts a story of a machine gun company throughout Continuation war from 1941 to the armistice in 1944. (Kinda like a Finnish version of Band of Brothers if you may).
There are other Finnish war films too but I wont start listing them all.
