AI difficulty

So im new to the game but have 300 plus hours in wargame,fairly familiar with ww2 vehicles etc,understand most mechanics in this game too.

i have played my 3rd game 4v4 against AI,on medium and lost all three..one major,two minor defeats...now im not complaining,i welcome the challenge.

I am curious however if anyone knows what exact resource bonuses the AI gets on what difficulties...WG RD AI did cheat on ALL difficulties(i modded that game i know exactly what resources it got at all levels)

Really impressed by this AI,Its a blast to play against,unlike that piece of garbage AI in wargame.

The medium AI does not have a bonus. It is from the Hard AI that we give some. And the very hard AI has more bonuses and special scripts making it even stronger.

Then that can work for or against you depending on whether the hard AI is on an ally or an opponent.

I was aware of the bonus to availability and income, however I was not aware of 'special scripts'. Any chance we could get a bit of insight here as to what those are/do? I'm a bit curious if that's possible.

Keep an eye on the map size, incidentally. The game lets you play 4v4s on 1v1 maps, which always results in a total grind.

Can we just get the special script without the cheating ?!?? My good lord, and here I thought that medium AI was the best script you guys could give.

I just want the best script without the cheating.

you got a special cheating script too, its called creativity, the AI doesnt have it, he got something far simpler, so deal with it

Does one go to the Doc's for a special scripts or does one simply play more rounds of SD II? I found the later worked for me.

Iv waited a looong time for an RTS with good non cheating AI.

Appears to be the hard AI has unlimited planes, they never stop, ever, similar to the helicopter rushes from WGRD.

I then wonder what are exact differences between very easy,easy and medium if AI have no resource bonuses...DEVs?

is it just their orders per minute?

Eugen did the same thing with the last game, they decided to make hard cheat instead of play better. They just get more income. I can't think of a worse way to handle difficulty than to allow your opponent to just have more income than you. I really hate it.

The AI is actually pretty good overall in this game. It doesn't feel like it can be abused very easily. I just wish they had a way of increasing the difficulty without cheating.
