How do I capture reinforcements points on Army General map

Hi,

On the Army General map, I can see reinforcement point flags that are grey and flashing, where if captured I can deploy reinforcements to. How on earth do I capture these reinforcement flags? I've got units sat on them and nothing. The message I get when I try to deploy a battalion to a flag I havnt captured is "This position and all previous ones must be captured" - the previous is captured as its my starting reinforcement point, but I just cant figure out how to capture new ones

You have to bring the position within your side of the frontline AND secure it by clearing any nearby enemy units.
