I don't think we will see it, as much as I think it would be a heck of a lot of fun.
ALB had a coop and head to head campaign, which I thought was great. Granted there were a couple of desync problems with it, but it was still well worth it on many, many play throughs. To make the Army General thing in SD2 capable of CoOp or Head to Head would be pretty darn awesome.
Yeah, there were a couple of sticking points in that ALB campaign, like the dsync issue, which could certainly be bypassed if you saved on a regular basis and then went back and did the turn a little differently. However, yes, that campaign was lots of fun and my buddies and I played it lots of hours. To see something like that in the Army General format, would be great.
Agreed. But this is a multiplayer game. Regardless of past features, multiplayer should extend to every part of the game. To not include multiplayer for a feature is one thing, but to create a strategic AI rather than just opening up a multiplayer slot is...silly. Basically, it looks like they have put in more work for less result.
Besides, adding it is much more than just « opening a multiplayer slot »: campaign were designed with AI in mind, UI was made for single player, ...
Nevertheless, we have already stated that adding that feature was smthg we want to do, and we still intent to.
But we are focusing our main effort on things we’ve actually promised and planned in our roadmap first.
Really? 2%? Wow. That I did not know. That explains a lot regarding why you did not include it. That number seems crazy. I did nothing else but the campaign, as did most if not all of my friends, because it added context to what would have been just random pointless battles. Weird. I guess we are/were just a niche. Thanks for taking an interest and replying.
How is the company doing btw.? Are you satisfied with steel division 2 and the revenues?
