But that does not help and work always. I am trying to destroy 1 artillery battalion for few turns without success. They have like 8 howitzer and 1 leader and they are at 30% strength. When battle start they just sit on deployment zone not trying to take a single flag. When I try to get to them, I already control most of the flags and the battle is suddenly over (because of time mechanism) and they survive again and again...
Yes battalions are removed when exausted but you could also remove them from board when they get status ROUTED.
When status is ROUTED block them from escape and attack them as usual, you will get a promt for a tactical battle but it will never happen.
The routed unit will be removed and your atacking unit will be moved to its location.
For a unit to be ROUTED
1)win a TOTAL or MAJOR Victory
2)Be in enemy territory for 2 or more turns (read the help description)
The problem is, or was, that destroying routed battalions doesnt count in the score count, neither as personel/material destroyed nor as battalion. I guess thats because they are considered zero strength? Has this been addressed? I might start playing again if so.

Appreciate it that you will give it a look. I know I had reported it back in the day anyway. Some more issues with map generation as well. (dont remember the name) There is this battle on solo where you control a French Waffen SS battalion against a Russian horde. Played it, very good. When the exact same battle pops up in Army general(again dont remember which campaign) the map is reversed-now its the Russians controlling the city and the French "defending" the plains outside.

Yes, I only play single player and I'd like to see the results of my campaign play. A full 40% of the Bolshevik battalions I destroy are routed that were cut off supplies.
