Where in god's name do I find some animal fat?

Yes I know this will sound like a stupid question shut up. I need just one animal fat for a halberd upgrade and I can't find that ♥♥♥♥ for the life of me. Wolves don't seem to drop it, can't find it from a merchant, where is that ♥♥♥♥?
