I'm pretty sure there are not any romance options, banter among companions, or a friendship/rivalry system. While there are twelve companions total, in any given playthrough four of them will be available to you based on your character's alignment (good, neutral, or evil). Of course, characters of the same general moral code could still bicker (like, say, Dorian and Blackwall in Dragon Age: Inquisition), but I haven't seen anything like that here.
I'm a long way from finishing the game, but I think I should have seen some indication of those things if they were present.
In short, companions each have a personal quest and some personality, but you won't see the kind of party dynamics you would in a BioWare or Obsidian game. I don't know if the devs have plans to add any of the other things you mentioned.
I hope this info is of some use.
Maybe different endings for them depending on how the player treated them too.
So I guess that the dev of Alaloth got romance and/or party interaction elements as one of the lowest priorities that will be introduced only by the very very end of development...or it simply won't happen and the dev does not want to say it outright simply to not discourage potential buyers.
Lack of an answer is an answer too...
