Just started playing and I don't think I'll play this one for a long time. It's supposed to be high skill ceiling but it's pretty basic.

i Left when i figured that i needed to spend money at the cash shop to progress, the game was fun until cheaters turned up,basically its just a cash grab.

All of the content you can buy is just for aesthetics. The classes you can buy are purchasable through the in game currency.

In my opinion, it is worth playing casually. If you're a competitive player or someone who can't withstand motion blur I would not play for long, not just because the bugs/motion sickness/hackers/whatever, but the whole progression is handled. The leveling system reward is behind a paywall and the worst about it is that there are NO MORE FREAKIN DRAGON EGGS TO BREED.

It's not worth playing casually as a lot of the time you are against full teams of tryharding stacks, it's either join a competent team or have fun losing as a solo with newbies and sometimes bad bots.

And for the last time, there are no hackers! Just cheaters, using smurf accounts to gatekeep the leaderboard

As a PC player who uses a controller, let me just say there's a lot of hyperbole about this game. First off, the player counts listed are steam. This game supports crossplay, and as such I generally have very short waits to get games. Unless you're trying for ranked, that takes a while to match.

The skill ceiling isn't as high as people would have you believe. The biggest problem is the occasional AFK bot can really mess up a team.

The game's free to play. The nonsense that you need to spend money is laughable. The most you might be compelled to buy is the two new classes, but you can absolutely get em with free currency. And the paid abilities, aside from not being very strong, can similarly be bought with free currency. My advice is to give it some plays and see how you like it. Get a handle on the controlls in the PvE, and then try spoils of war/carnage. Gates of fire is also great fun and not awful for a newbie. There's enough to sink your teeth into here, that as you master stamina regen, speed, dodging fireballs, etc you'll get a great sense of satisfaction at your bettering performance.

As a long time flight game fan, this game gives me the tight controls, fast action, and skill based gameplay I want. While the cosmetics can be a bit much on the cash front, they're just cosmetics. I found the season pass to be worth it, but I also bought it early in the season. I also was at a point with currencies where I could have bought thornweaver, or the season pass purchase would give me enough currency immediately to get her for free. So it was an easy decision, and it gave me no shortage of currencies (premium and standard) in addition to a TOOON of cosmetics. Personally I highly recommend this game but it's clearly not for everyone. Give it a fair shot and see how you do!

I liked the game back at release, but given its population now i'm not sure there's a point.

I think if you play it and you focus on being good, you will find community to play with. I play pretty good and several high level players have added and played with me lately. The experience will vary across skill levels. Century is a unique pvp ftp that is actually very well made. :steamhappy:

the short answer: No, it is a waste of your time and brain power.

Sadly this game need call Thashentury: Age of Scamming, since devs put bolt on save PC/Console version, they spam mobile version to save dead community, s3 be absolutly weird without fix lags, bugged issue, MM problems! But they sale trash items with 50% discount in shop rn. Great way to clear money wile great project simply die!

When i played ages ago it all revolved around the cash shop, they wouldnt even give out gear that enable you to progress through the season for free players, you had to pay, things may have changed but i never looked back after uninstalling.
