Indicate when a fireball is locked on you
Please let the player know a fireball is locked on them. When I die, half the time I don't even know someone is after me. The text "X is hunting you" is not enough and ambiguous.

Knockout city does locking well. It's not unfair and doesn't take away the fun in that game. In the contrary, getting good feedback when you're being targeted makes the game so much more approachable. I think Century could use a more informative UI.

they do? it's the red arrows pointing around you, which rotate based on where the fireball is coming from

yellow arrow is a hunter's mark coming at you

As far i know, the red arrows are the number of fireballs that are coming at your ass. So if you see 5 red arrows it mean you have 5 fireballs coming at you.

The color or the size (don't remember now) should also indicate the distance

This is definitely on you, have you tried looking at the screen while playing?

Like in other shooter games which direct indicators to which direction the enemy is firing, the fireball warning apperas on your screen as red semi-circles, the smaller the semi circle the closer the fireball. If the semi-circle turns white it would mean that particular fireball is likely to miss you unless you intentionally fly to its path. This does not mean other fireballs will miss you as they are still red.

The number of the semi-circles also is the number of fireballs headed for you. If you see them all turn white it means your mostly succesfully evaded the fireballs that are still traveling but are no longer in trajectory to you.

The red directional arrows indicate what direction a projectile locked on to you is coming from, how many there are, and how close each one is.

"It's on you". You think I'm not seeing the arrow on purpose? The arrow is definitely not clear or big enough. The UI in general is tiny and I can hardly read the text indicator. For the record I play 1080p on a huge TV, so maybe you could take a look how it scales with the Windows scaling percentage or something. To make matters worse there is so much happening that I've never noticed a fireball arrow trying to maneuver. Again, I have no problem seeing the lock in Knockout city. I just don't see a reason not to make is as obvious in this game. Besides, there are arrows that point toward team mates I think and if the fireballs have arrows too, how am I supposed to know which is which? Anyway, I'm not here to argue with angry teens but to give feedback.

Wow I really had no idea! I don't remember having any of this in the tutorial. Maybe you should consider adding it as it seems pretty vital.

Its actually in the ingame guide, its not something you can just tell newbies to do as they will just get frustrated because they dont have the reflex yet to dodge fireballs. The ingame guide is too hidden in the lobby UI for newbies to find it even though its just 2 click, I learned it from youtube veteran players as I try to "gitgud".

My experience after watching youtube guides actually payed off as from lvl 3 onwards, I keep dominating the newbie mode, I feel could already fight anyone below lvl 20.

Now that I am lvl 20 i now cry fighting against more skilled players at lvl 20+
There's the red markers behind you that notify you when you're about to get his. The more apparent the markers are, the closer the fire ball is.

Run for cover, or break and boost in the opposite direction to dodge them. The closer they are, the easier it is for you to dodge but you have to time it right.
