I believe it had a different publisher. I agree it's a shame, this is my favorite episode. I was around to buy this when it was first released.

It was a commercial product under a different publisher. (I still have the box and disks). The early Keens were a series of 3 episodes, with the first episode being free and two following you could purchase. I got the first game free with a joystick I purchased, for instance.

BTW, you CAN find AAMB on abandon-ware site and can download or play in the browser.

GameBoy color Commander Keen was published in 2001, decade after DOS Commander Keens. So it is final Commander Keen if we don't consider Commander Keen Dreams Definitive Edition which is remaster
