Is anyone trying to play this with a 8bitdo controller? It works fine, but I want to use the D-Pad

If you set the game to Gravis gamepad the game correctly uses 4 buttons but defaults to the analog thumb stick. I have no idea how to change that.

maybe dosbox's keymapper can help (Ctrl+F1)

I usually stick to the opensource Antimicro keymapper or the Steam Big Picture keymapper.
