I'd say so, I used to play this when I was little myself. Level design and the controls can get a bit intimidating but the game gives you a lot of chances with it's life system

Controls aren't difficult to learn, the story is quite approachable, the game-play is a bit goofy. Sure, why not?

Actually this game is pretty brutal difficulty-wise compared to modern games. Still I enjoyed it immensely when I was a kid and bought it on steam to support the developers (I doubt the company still exists?).

I played this game when i was 7-9 no problem. Very kid friendy.

Game devolper ID software went on to make Wolfenstein, Doom, Quake and others, but they got bought by ZeniMax Media in 2009, parent company of Bethesda (Fallout, Elderscrolls).

Definitely, it was my favorite game series as a kid till duke nukem came out. Shame they stopped making games for this series.

Be aware however, this is a old school type game, that means it's fairly hard compared to modern games, so it takes practice to beat it.

yes :) i play this from time when i have 5/6 years old :p i still play even today :p (from time to time) it siutable for kids :) i grow for gream man :D maeby alone and poor but this game and othe appoge games did not distort my psyche :)
