what is partial comtroller support?
And is there a way to get it to full support? or is that dependent on what controller i use?

You can bind actions to buttons on your controller, however, the game isn't designed for a controller, the menus don't support a controller etc.

Besides, the game is relatively hardcore, it would be awful to play on a slow controller.
how to bind? i'd just rather quick set the actions, and then run and gun.
cyberjump, matinece ect.

menus dont work as IronBar said, but u can use a contoller and keyboard at the same time. i dont see a benefit to that though as i use keyboard and mouse only and map a crapload of powers based on how often i use them. there is too many powers to fit on a controller. your better off using the keyboard and mouse with this game, more powers can b used quicker if u use keyboard and mouse.
a friend of mine likes controller too, but he is sevely crippled when he uses a controller with this game.

sadly. UI is not designed for gamepad. besides it'd be cool to chill out on a couch in front of TV and enjoy the athomosphere, story and gameplay on lower difficulty (plus auto-aiming bulit-in source engine) - the game is nott actually counter-strike and it is cooperative action-rpg so it might work as couch experience. Just like any story-driven first person game. But it needs complete UI overhaul to achieve that (and to achieve something else - UI is atrocious in terms of usablity, readability and simple everyday logic). Dreams dreams...

I use a program called xpadder to map my controller for this game....as the ingame controller mapping is buggy as heck.

Technically i play with controller and mouse and keyboard.

As for PVP....sorry controller is alot better then a mouse.....i have full 3d movement....i can jump back wards and do a spin in mid air to change targets simple enough....i can jump on box after box that moves or is spaced apart and still shoot at other people.....a person with just keyboard and mouse isnt going to be able to do that.

But then for doing dialogue or a hack i find using a mouse easier...
So i personaly recommend keyboard and mouse and controller.

So i recommend a controller in addition to your keyboard and mouse if you use a similar program like me.

I always like message forums...they always have people who say keyboard and mouse are supperior to controller usage.
Yet ironic as it may seam....they tend to be the same ones who are first to complain how difficult it is to run along a fence or jump over something or do some jumping challenge.
