E.Y.E: Divine Cybermancy

How the hell do you stealth in this game?
And no, no cloaks or anything. I just want pure stealth, silenced kills, etc. And it seems to me you can't do that. The option is there, but the playstyle doesn't exist. It's just there for certain situations. So is there any reason why i can't go full stealth? If it's a game of options, stealth should exist. I am not the type who goes guns blazing.

Cloak is really the only option, once you are discovered ai don't forget location and spawns will head that way. On maps like new eden you can lose them in the sewers and pop up on another end unknown. Most maps wont have no enemy zones you can weasel in and out of though. If you want to give up killing you could try to do a no alert run on the stealth ai setting but there will be times where you will have brush up close and even on the low settings they will notice you, like electric sheep.

Turn down the AI sound detection, on full, even with the cloak they were hearing me out, and when I stopped moving and hid in a corner they could heart my heart beats or something.

Even when cloaking you still have to keep distance from enemies, your footsteps aren't silent. Armor factors into it but i'm not sure if the weight of what you are carrying does. Moving slower also helps. Alternatively, moving so fast that the ai loses your trail while cloaked works and I find the best option if stealth is what you want.

If you playing solo, then, from my expririence - you don't.

You can be kinda-sorta stealthy in co-op, when somebody distracting enemies from you. Then you might be able to cloak past them and do objectives, or hacks, or whatever.
In other words, the stealth is broken. I always use stealth if i can in any game that allows it. However i don't mind shooting since i usually avoid it, so it might be fun. But having every enemy on the whole map know your exact location when you kill someone is a bit silly.

Honestly, it would have not been so annoying if the first mission was not immediately a stealth mission because I did not have the ability to cloak. But I went through it with a minigun, so I guess that works too. I would generally not be concerned with stealth until you get the ability to cloak.

The guns blazing style is really fun, actually. Stealth is fun as well with the BOSCO, but it is just so much more fun to get a few boosts to the cyber legs and to run and jump about with an assault rifle (Especially on extra missions in New Eden). As for pure stealth, I wouldn't really bother with that- You need the cloak. Maybe it is possible with the hacking and the low sight/hearing options for the guards, using a guard to distract enemies while you slip by, but I really don't have faith in a pure stealth run.
Stealth isn't "broken" if they never made real effort to implement stealth systems, which they didn't. The cloak is a defensive panic button more than anything.

The game is supposed to send you a bunch of waves of enemies. It would be a lot less interesting and compelling imo if they didn't all come for you. Not that I expect everyone to objectively enjoy that. It's just how it's entirely structured as far as I can tell.
