E.Y.E: Divine Cybermancy

E.Y.E: Divine Cybermancy

Will we ever see an EYE 2?
I am not optimistic but I believe E.Y.E. is one of the best FPS/RPG hybrids, despite the flaws with the game. Nothing tops this game's charm. the sheer confusion of when you start the game, having no idea what to do, but through your cycles of guilt you learn how to play and the weight of your crimes. Here's to hoping we will see an E.Y.E. 2 someday

Depends when StreumOn's contract for making 40k games for Focus Home Interactive will end. They apparently stated few times that they are open and willing to make a sequel to E.Y.E. However from what I remember, old posts were talking about it being more like SWAT3 seen from Federal perspective

Honestly sounds pretty terrifying. Imagine doing a dime-a-dozen no-knock-raid on some gangster bolthole, and once you're through the door you're face-to-face with a Culter Dei in Heavy Armor mowing down your buddies with a Sulfatum. Then you call in a gunship and it ends up getting hacked and attacking you. As you lie dying, you see the Culter making some strange gesture a moment before you explode into a fountain of gore just so that he could teleport in order to save himself a few seconds of walking time.

Still, I'd buy anything that's more E.Y.E.

Definitely sounds interesting: E.Y.E. 2 - Crimes of New Eden.

Would love to see New Eden or something like that realized in more detail.

That sounds fantastic. Lots of potential in either coordinating a team of AI to bring down a living tank with a minigun or, better yet, doing so in co-op.

I NEED THIS
Your E.Y.E 2 is Necromunda: Hired Gun, sorry.

Hell no.
A sequel would be very interesting. I would hope they keep the supremely strange and dreamlike atmosphere.

I also think that Necromunda is the closest thing to E.Y.E. 2 that we are going to see.

It is so crazy. Streumon basically invented the "FPS game as a service" but without all the microtransactions for skins etc.
Necromunda is currently in thehumble choice bundle and I get lots of E.YE. vibes from it.
It definetly is not as grindy, but the gunplay, the music, the levels, not bad, not bad.

Hired Gun was in a really ♥♥♥♥♥♥ state when it was released though. Some little things have been fixed since, but overall I wasn't too happy with it.

But then again, I dislike wh40k anyways.

I did only buy it during one of the earlier sales this year and I had some trouble with performance. For the most part - for whatever reasons - it works properly now. No clue how much of that is due to patches and how much to my own fiddling around though. The game was pretty unstable until I fixed the framerate to 60.

Probably not.

Yes, I am currently solo developing the sequel and I expect it to be released sometime in the next couple of weeks.

A cool concept would be what Valve did with Half-life, with Opposing forces and Blue Shift.

In E.Y.E instead of a straight out sequel have it being played out from the eyes of the other factions but along the same time line as the first game.
