Mods?
I would love to see some mods for this game, since there are so many traits that the title lacks.

Maybe weapon rebalancing (For the Betty Boom specifically...) and some other changes to the mechanics?

I would also love to see some more NPCs in the game world, since exploring these gigantic maps often leads to nothing.

Maybe we could put this together? I would love to help, even if developing isn't my forte.

Balance is definately something that could use another pass. Most of the weapons in game are "usable" for the most part but a lot of that is more to do with the fact unarmored enemies barely take any fire from anything. Damage only really matters when it comes to enemies that already have armor and then you're just better off ignoring a lot of the weapons, and just using the Bear killer or the hunting machine. Maybe with something lighter and with more capacity for weak enemies.

The betty boom being unfortunate enough to become the worst weapon has more to do with the fact there's really no use for a high damage non armor peircing weapon at all when something like the BK 13 or S6000 can still frequently take out unarmored guys with one hit.

Exactly. What I was thinking was to give the betty boom some sort of armor piercing capability, like flechette rounds. That means it could fill a niche for those who want to take down tougher enemies without using weapons that are meant longer range shooting, like the bearkillers and the hunting machine. Maybe after that it can give the godly HS10 a run for it's money. Lmao.

The dual swords need to be buffed as well, big time. Maybe blocking with them would be less taxing on your stamina, since you are using the support of two weapons, and not just one? It would allow for playstyles not available in the vanilla game, and I think that is what we should try to go for if we decide to mod this game.

Hacking needs the biggest buff of them all, and I bet we can all agree with that. :D:
