Type "services" without quotes in windows search and open services or press Win+R and run services.msc
Scroll down to Windows Search, right click, Properties
Set startup type to disabled, click Stop and Ok.
File indexing just makes an index of all files which speeds up searching, but apparently it causes problems for some people.
Nope it doesn't save my game.
Lord
My friend likes that band. Everything that I've heard from that band is just nonesense, it's like if Beck was a country artist. So basically the same thing but less garbage can lids slamming together. Everytime he puts it on I'm like "♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ not this" and he's like "You have no good taste in music, typical millennial." I'm sorry, apparently TV static from a guitar is high class.
He does of course, because this game is also like smashing trash can lids together. But this game somehow makes it work, so instead of this game being like Beck it's like Caravan Palace, who can slap lids together to make something nice to listen to. Mostly because there's actual rhythm to everything that makes the music, and not just random noises just so there's noises.
Although the save system is comparible to Beck.
A major corporation paid them a bunch of money to come up with a song for an ad campaign, and after like 6 months this is what they came up with. If that doesn't tickle you I'm not sure what to say.
Anyway, have you tried deleting all the files? Not just uninstalling, but going in and deleting the junk folder that steam leaves behind in its entirety. There may be some folder permissions set incorrectly, and deleting it is probably the fastest solution. Moving the save files never worked for me, but this only ever happened once.
Also, did you install a clean copy of 10 or did you upgrade from 7?
