qnO is actually in the game I believe, it plays right when you end a game cycle and interact with that credits pedestal
Hahaha, indeed. Frak, I haven't played my game enough :p
Thanks for posting those, I am always a sucker for more EYE and its OST is really atmospheric and adds alot to the game.
would ya mind If I'd snap some for EYE custom levels?
Also I wonder why you named all of them QnSomething? Is there a meaning to it?
"Cue number", that's what qn means. It was initially (when I was working on the first tracks) a reference to a musician friend called pigFreezer who used funky / strange names on some of his tracks. And to be even more strange, I used letters instead of numbers.
I finally liked the feeling of these names without any particular signification (it fits pretty well the strange universe of E.Y.E).
Also, since we worked a long time on the game, another factor was that some tracks were used several times at different moments in game. And some were written for a "place" ( I did not know at that point what was the story behind it ). So it was hard to find a specific title that had a meaning linked to the game.
Thanks :)
If we're talking about the released tracks (that comes with the game), I don't have any problem with people using my work for non-commercial purposes as long as I am credited. But in this case I'm not the one that can allow you to do whatever you want with the music since E.Y.E is the property of Streumon Studio ( and every piece of art inside the game ).
To be honest, if it's for custom E.Y.E levels I don't think there is any problem. If you want to be sure, you can always contact the studio using Twitter or the website.
If we're talking about the un-released tracks, feel free to use them.
Great work on all of these, EYE would not be the same without you. So much of EYE's atmosphere relies on your music.
Thanks "It's okay to be white" (what a long nickname to type). Also, seriously ? crap, I'm not even aware of some integrations in game haha. I'll have to change the descriptions on my website :o
I'll keep you informed as soon as possible :)
I asked Pierrick. He's gonna see if his buddy still has some nice source for the tracks. I'll be back as soon as I have more infos.
