How do I farm for research briefcases?

Should I be farming some specific type of enemy? What is the best location to grind? Thank you.

Briefcases are dropped from human enemies. One of the best "stock" maps to farm would be New Eden on Invasion spawn settings. Restart the map until your main enemies spawning there are looters or feds.

Either heavy armour + Sulfatum and just roleplay as lawn mower, spawn one sentry, hold it and get into some corner and basically afk for a while, or use your preferred method of enemy elimination.

Thanks a lot, this is much more effective than all the methods I've tried before. The only problem is that it seems that getting all the research for the giant space hammer of painful death will take a lot of time. I've been shooting armies of looters for two hours straight, and almost all of the objects dropped were the ones I already have.

Research briefcases contain random researches, it's unfortunately long process of depopulating New Eden with lead and praying to RNG Jesus for good drops.
