i figured it out, server was always never responding

Start in Lan mode and set a pssword for Co-op campaign, thne once in go to console nad type "sv_lan 0" then "heartbeat" then "changelevel divine_cybermancy". After this the person that is trying to join has to type "password (what ever password you have here)" then do "connect (IP address)" dont put the parenthis tho.

I think i got it to work when I did just "heartbeat" when i ran it not in Lan mode, but the big part is password i think.
