Any way to cheat/ get closer to the targets?

I'm pretty terrible at these kind of games; is there any way I can disable the collision on stage to get closer to the targets? I've spent about 30 minutes on the first stage for some perspective on how bad I am, haha.

If not, I'd like to suggest a form of an easy mode with those restrictions removed.

Hi,
This is the only mode. Depending on which controller you are using, perhaps try one of the alternate control methods i.e. if you are walking with trigger and throwing & releasing the knives with the grip, try releasing with the trigger instead.
