How we activate the game in Ubi Connect?
Please try starting the game via your Steam library's "Play" button and selecting the "Free Weekend" version there. This should resolve the issue.
edit: the issue should be solved now, and you shouldn't need the workaround anymore
Since that doesn't seem very fair, you will just need buy the basegame if you want to continue playing.
Of course, you can also buy any of the DLC, should you feel inclined to do so, and activate them on that savegame.
This game requires to accept infinite licenses you wont read, requires to install ubi launchers, requires to make a ubi account with many licenses...
This is not FUN!!
Seriously UBI developers, make it easy.
EDIT: No i wont read those large licenses i dont know what your going to do with my data, i just installed this game and i got an email on my personal gmail??? wtf???
Unistalled, unfollowed, no more ubi,
Nope, Does not do it. Tried launching it a dozen times, keeps going to Ubiconnect to create an account. Thanks for wasting my time. No "free weekend" option comes up when you click play.
It did for me.
I already had an account, though. When clicking Play, there was first a small pop-up to select free weekend or the other option (don't remember now), then it went to some screen where it asked to link the account to Steam so that the game was available, or something like that, then the game started. So you do need an account, but no activation key.
PS: By the way, when starting it again now (through Steam), it skipped the selection window and went straight to the game. Maybe you need to reset some cookies or ini-files or something to make the selection screen reappear.
