Old Nate's quest bugged in the arctic

At some point in the arctic story line Old Nate gives the quest "A First Airship" where the player recieves some arctic gas to build the Boreas (airship). After I built the airship the quest dissapears (without follow up since I did the Faithfull story line with a helium airship). I don't want to keep the Boreas so I sell it and instantly after that I recieve the Quest "A First Airship" again and O.N. deposits some arctic gas at one of my arctic settlements again.

It is now in an endless quest loop of arctic gas>build Boreas>sell Boreas>recieve quest again>O.N. give gas>...

Is there a way to break the cycle?

Thanks for your reply and yes I wouldn't bother laoding an old save for that since I finished the whole Faithfull story line anyway. So it is only an open task which doesn't block any progress. The quest permanently circle with pick up gas > build Boreas > i don't want the Boreas so I sell it > pick up free gas again > ...

Funny enough I could find the thread you posted even though I typed 'arctic bug' in the search bar. ^^

Maybe I can trick me out of the loop when I have the muse to for it. I'll post it here when I find a way.

PS: In New World building the airship hangar looped as well since I recieved the quest to build one after the completion of the first. After some time I placed a second foundation and teared it down again. The quest stopped reappearing.
