I've taken note of your questions regarding controller support for Anno 1800.
The thread has been moved to the Community Support section of the forum, to bring it the best possible visibility.
There are currently no plans to add controller support to the PC version, and I invite you to check the {LINK REMOVED}Console Edition FAQ for more information on that topic.
Feel free to reach out if you have other questions, or if there's anything else we can help you with !

I don'T own any console but I like to play (and most games support this) with a controller (cause, big surprise it's specally made for gaming).
So if you already developed a controller Version UI and input for Anno 1800 why don't we get it?
Because nearly every game supports Controller this days may setup is not made for long play with mouse+keyboard and so I play Anno much less than I would with a controller
As it was already mentioned by @Ubi-MrM, currently there are no plans to add controller support on PC. This is because the PC version is optimized for mouse and keyboard input and for all the additional Season Pass DLC released there, which are not available for console.
I have gathered your feedback and will pass it to our devs, although we can't guarantee that controller support will be implemented.
Thank you very much.

RIP Anno series.
There's a reason why it's now 19.99 instead of 80.
Dude, the reason is that it's a 4 year old game, and old games get discounted on sales. That's normal and has nothing to do with what you're implying.
But I concur on dev laziness. They wouldnt even need to code anything... They would just an employee to spend a few hours optimizing the default game controller setup on Steam using all of the existing mapping functions built into Steam the way I did. The fact they wont even do this is pretty sad....
