Steam -> Uplay activation key?
Hi there. I have had some issues with installing the game but it seems that now i have an Uplay activations key that i simply can't find in steam.
In my Library dlc section i can see that it has installed the Uplay preorder activation. But i can't get it to show my key.
Need some help!

I do not think you can get a key without actually starting the game. The game itself should associate itself to your Uplay account when it starts Uplay. After that, you might be able to find the Uplay key in Uplay itself, not that it will help in your situation...

The game should auto-activate on your U.play account.

You try can re-install U-Play for solving the problem:

1) In your task manager, find the following process: UbisoftGameLauncher.exe, and end the process.
2) After that, uninstall and reinstall Uplay PC from uplay.ubi.com , as this will update the client.
3) Launch the game again from Steam.

Seems like i needed to restart steam and uplay and remove em from detail in TM.

yep, I reinstalled Uplay, reloaded both Steam and Uplay, and it worked out for me.

necro-ing this, but just relaunching the game resolved this issue for me.
It really is a lot of hoops to jump through just so that you have to use their own crap account system. I'd advise anyone else to solve this the way I did - by refunding.

Pretty sure people figured out the work-around in the past 5 years since this topic was posted. ;)
