Bought a DLC through Steam but the game thinks I haven't purchased it yet
As the title says, really. Today I bought the Season 2 pass and according to Steam, I have purchased it. Yet the game itself thinks I haven't yet purchased it. What do I need to do in order to get this to work?

Ubisoft connect should give a pop-up when you start the game to confirm the newly bought dlc will be bound to your ubisoft account. If it did not, maybe try restarting the ubisoft client and then starting the game from steam again.

I've never had a problem with a season pass, but I bought one of the smaller DLCs before, and the game behaved as if I had never bought it all, just like your experience.

This is what the very helpful UbiSoft Support people had me do. I DO NOT guarantee this is the solution to your problem, and if you don't feel comfortable doing this, then I would suggest opening up your own ticket with Ubisoft Support.

Anyway:

1.) Uninstall the game.

2,) Search to see if this folder still exists: C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\Steamapps\Common\Anno 1800

If this folder still exists, DELETE it.

3.) Reinstall the game

4.) Once the game has been reinstalled, see if it's all working correctly.

When i did this, I was able to continue with a current game with my new DLC, and didn't have to start a new one.
