Wolves in Alpaca's clothing, Bug?

I bought this when it was on pre-order. Start playing it and i loved it.
But i could not complete the campaign... I goal ways got stuck on mission were a both would not move at the edgee of the map. After trying 3 campaigns i never could complete it and i gave up, its time consuming with only frustration at the end.

No In these Covid-19 times i got time again and tyried the campaign. Yet i am stuck again in campaign.
I can't complete "Wolves in Alpaca's clothing" there are no arsonists to be found. bug?

I not gonna spend money on more "story" DLC If you can't even complete the original campaign.

If you are still encountering this issue after patching up to 3.2, this is related to your save game and so you would have to start a new campaign.

I've recently started playing this and I've encountered this bug several times. In fact, I can duplicate every game, every save, with 100% success rate. I'm assuming that this bug will never actually get fixed since it's so old at this point.

The ONLY way to avoid having this bug, is to NOT expand to a different island before completing this quest on La Isla. Otherwise, this bug appears every single time. And you have to start your game over.

It is a mess, I played more than 8 hours and after a while I started to build on La Isla, but it doesn't work anymore. I can't continue the quest.

Sorry to hear it.
Is this the same bug as described above? Or you cannot progress a mission in a different way?
Can you tell us the steps in game you did for this to occur?

Currently I have same bug, where I have to find 0/0 Pyrphorians, cant continue story (What is sadly, bc Im playing on hard difficulty and wanted to build proper Old World before `New`)
So, probably it was triggered as I build city on another island, that was proposed.

Im not using any mods

Can I somehow skip this quest?

ok so i encountered the 0/0 pyrphorians and fixed it by loading a save that was before i got that mission and transferred the refugees to la isla instead of the island i was building on.

Wonderful. 4 years after opening the discussion, bug still is not fixed. And there is no solution to the bug, other than starting new game? Good job Ubisoft, I hope Tencent will do some radical HR management in your crew.

yep, but in those 4 years, i was happy not owning Ubisoft games...i didn't bought any...:

but it seems i am not missing out, games got worse and worse....

I guess I'll give up on Ubisoft games. Such a widespread bug hasn't been fixed for many years - typical Ubisoft...
