If you haven't already, the first thing we'd advise is verifying the game files. This will check for missing or corrupt game files and replace them. You can find Steam's steps on performing this here
I'm not sure there's a Condition names that, but there's a number of ones you can set. You can also have no Conditions, which would allow you to play infinitely .

Do you meet the minimum requirements to run the game? These can be seen here[support.ubi.com]

My specs are:
CPU: FX 8350
GPU: GTX 970 SSC (watercooled)
RAM: 16 GB
MB: Biostar 990FXE
OS: Win 7
HD: ADATA 480GB SSD
All clocks are set at stock speed, nothing OCd.
I can scroll the selection to the first option in the menu that says "one" but when I click the side arrow again it crashes.
Is there a game log file I can post? If so where could I find it?
Thank you for your help.
Unfortunately I'm not sure where the exact log files would be at the moment.
If you look in the Windows Error reporting, does it show the application crashing there? Do you get an error message or does the game just act like it was closed?
- Ubisoft Support
Windows event viewer doesn't show any errors or crashes. Windows resource monitor shows the game was "terminated" in the status column shortly after crash.
The crash is quick and clean. I regain control about 4 seconds after pressing the selection arrow.
I noticed other people having the same problem on other forums. Let me know if there is anything else I can do to troubleshoot. Deleting, purging the game files from my documents, and reinstalling the game did not solve the problem.
(My apologies to the OP for hijacking the thread.)
Just to confirm, when you purged the files you also removed the Save files for the game? Even just moving them from the folder to the desktop.
Could you provide us with a video of the crash?

Thanks
For the others in this thread, could you also let us know the system setup you are using? Like that provided by Sikon above? It would be interesting to see if there was a particular similarity between yourselves.

This would especially be the case if the issue isn't occurring for all users.
